Poses

I tried to create a fade effect which works well on the paper but hasn't scanned so well. This drawing deliberately has little detail... I just wanted very basic shades in this with only the eyes, mouth and a few other parts recieving any attention.

This is my third portrait of Natalie Portman, (probably because she is my favorite actress) the most I have ever drawn a single person. I couldn’t think of a name so I named it after the Rufus Wainwright song which I think fits fairly well.

One of the reasons I drew this is because I wanted to test out my new Bristol board paper (which I had to get from America as the UK doesn’t seem to have it). Overall I like it, both smooth and Bristol boards have pros and cons so now I can choose which one I want to use.
